Better than paralysis...

Here comes a story based on truly mad science. Everything is possible with a simple combination of some of today's neuroscience methods.

Just reconfigure a brain pacemaker not to restart neurons by electrical shocks, but to block them with electromagnetic noise, and you can switch off a selected part of the brain.  So what if you had such a probe installed in your premotor cortex like her?
